Notes: At Melbourne Sports Physiotherapy, our physios are big believers in curing your aches and pains, not just treating the symptoms. We know you don’t want to spend all day on the treatment table, so we get to the root cause of your condition. We provide Sports, Spinal and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy to adults, adolescents & children, for all injuries and conditions. We give you the knowledge and support so you can manage your condition. We only do what we know works. We are a “hands-on” clinic, and combine muscle activation, strengthening, core, balance, proprioceptive and stretching exercises to complement all of our manual mobilisation, manipulation and dry needling treatments. We believe this keeps you performing at your peak and importantly, assists in avoiding re-injury. After all, prevention really is the best medicine. If we can’t help you achieve clear, positive, improvements within a few sessions, we will refer you for further investigations or to our network of experienced sports doctors, specialists and consultants. For your convenience, Melbourne Sports Physiotherapy has clinics located in Essendon, Richmond and Moonee Ponds. We open early and close late, making it easier for you to see us. Our HICAPS system allows you to claim your private health ‘extras’ rebates immediately, as we are covered by all funds. Appointments are longer than average duration, ensuring you get the full care you deserve. All of our Physiotherapists at Melbourne Sports Physiotherapy are accredited to treat all Workcover, TAC and Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) patients. We also work closely with many local sporting clubs, athletes and businesses, helping them achieve their health goals.  - See more at:

When seeing a therapist for pre or post op rehab it is advisable to have your therapist coordinate your rehabilitation with your treating surgeon. If Mr Freedman is your surgeon please ask your therapist to contact Mr Freedman to discuss your rehab plan, goals and progress.
