Our Clinical Practice and Surgical Team

Anaesthetists

The Anaesthetist is a pivotal member of our surgical team, dedicated to ensuring your safety and comfort throughout the surgical process. These highly trained medical professionals are responsible for administering anaesthesia, coordinating preoperative medical care, and managing postoperative pain. Given the critical role of expert anaesthesia in safe and comfortable surgery, Mr Freedman is selective about the anaesthetists who care for his patients.
Mr Freedman works with a selection of highly skilled anaesthetists, including Dr Steven Nutter and his father Dr Mark Freedman to name a few.

You will be thoroughly assessed by your anaesthetist, who will determine the safest and most appropriate type of anaesthesia for your procedure, whether it be a regional technique such as spinal or epidural anaesthesia, or general anaesthesia . Prior to your surgery, you will be informed about who will be administering your anaesthesia, and you will have the opportunity to discuss any medical aspects and associated fees of the anaesthetic service. It is important to bring any relevant medical and anaesthetic history to the attention of your anaesthetist to ensure optimal care.
