Our Practice and Care Philosophy
Our care philosophy is to provide patients the best possible experience and the best possible outcomes. This starts with your very first visit and means personal attention to detail and exceptional patient care at every step of the way.
Personal attention to detail and exceptional patient care are hallmarks of Mr Freedman’s patient experience. That experience begins at your first consultation with Mr Freedman to discuss your treatment goals and to address any concerns you may have and is carried through to surgery and throughout your post-operative care and long-term follow-up.
Mr Freedman aims to treat his patients the way he’d wish for his own family to be treated. Every patient we treat, whether a labourer on WorkCover or a successful businessman, is considered a Very Important Patient (VIP).
The Doctor/Patient Relationship
Mr Freedman believes strongly in the important role that patients should play in their own healthcare, and so every patient is also provided with Mr Freedman’s email address so you can direct questions to him 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We are proud to be one of the largest hip and knee replacement practices in the country. Our practice has grown through word of mouth from the patients we have been privileged to treat.

Driving: Monash House Private Hospital is situated on Clayton Rd, across the road from Monash Medical Clinic. Clayton Road is easily accessible form Princes Highway (Dandenong Rd, North Rd or Centre Rd).
Parking: Parking available onsite (paid – inexpensive) and neighbouring streets (free)
Public transport: 3 minutes walk from Clayton Railway Station. Bus stop directly outside.
Location in the hospital: We are located on the ground floor, opposite the hospital coffee shop and next door to Capital Radiology
